Blended and online courses are helping bridge gaps in student’s learning because it gives a more personalized experience when you are in control of your own learning. The asynchronicity of the courses ensures that no matter your life circumstances if you have a computer and the drive to learn, you are able to get a quality education and become a successful student. Online learning also bridges the gap for people struggling in school by giving them the ability to learn on their own time, free from time pressure that is present in classrooms. At the same time, it helps students who excel in school to use their time more efficiently and expand their knowledge further with the extra time they may get from working at their own pace.

I have benefited greatly from my experience with blended and online courses because it has allowed me the time to have a job, earn money, and do extracurriculars, all while also working towards my high school diploma when I would otherwise have to pick between the three.

A major perk of online learning is that I have the choice to do school work when I am in a productive mindset and the freedom to take a break and breathe when I am not.

When searching for a course to enroll in, ultimately I choose one that would give me the most amount of useful information pertaining to my life. I want to expand what I currently know to become a more well-rounded person.

Compared to a traditional classroom education, my experience with online and blended courses has been drastically more positive. It has given me the freedom to be the kind of student I want to be and is a more focused environment for me because it is free from distractions such as other students and teachers tangents. It allows me to be proactive with my learning and when I do reach out for help from teachers, I know that their focus is solely on me, and not on the entire class. Mu online learning experience also has given me a lot of time useful management and self-discipline skills.
