“Online learning has really helped me grow as a person. I have better study habits as a result of it. I have more interests and have expanded my education. It was something that I was not getting in traditional high school.”

– Jasmyn Brown

Blended learning bridges gaps for many students. Learning comes differently for every student, and online learning often is more efficient and convenient. These courses give the opportunity for many students to continue their education. When I am offered an online course, I do my research concerning the professor, the workload, and the kind of credit I receive from it. I want the best professor to ensure that I am getting the best education I can, especially where online learning is very different then in house learning. My Freshman year, I took a math class with little instruction or help.

I struggled all year and even sought extra help, but when my schedule didn't align with my teachers, it became difficult to receive help. One of my biggest struggles was not being able to get help from my teachers with in house learning, but with online learning, I have had options for face to face video chats, phone calls, and emails. Getting one on one help has truly been so rewarding.
